Check Care Confirm Correct

 As I glance through the pages of a book I'm reading, I learn one crucial aspect of human interaction that is worth observing and modulating.

These four words have lighted up my cerebrum

Criticism, Complain, Compliment, Praise

These words can wound or heal

They can pierce or cover

They build or destroy

Regardless of reason or explanation

When these words are used to describe the actions of another or how one feels about the result of an action they can be considered as positive for the purposes of communicating respect and resolution needed.

However when they are consistently used to describe a person's character; with implication of feelings of disgust, utter displeasure at the person and not necessarily the actions - they point to a deep-seated-unresolved-unattended-unaccepted issues.

Examples paraphrased from book on seven principles for making marriage work

Complaint: There's no fuel in the car. Why didn't you fill it up like you said you would ?

Criticism: Why can't you ever remember anything? I told you a thousand times to fill up the tank, and you didn't.

Complaint: You should have asked me before inviting anyone over for dinner. I wanted to spend time alone with you tonight.

Criticism: Why do you keep putting your friends ahead of me? I always come last on your list. We were supposed to have dinner alone tonight.

Friendship, Love, Intimacy, Forever

I have recently had a glimpse at these, and I realize it is wonderful.

I really cherish the order of the "title", I believe it shouldn't be reversed. They are essential components to life.

They are enveloped within good communication skills among both parties.

Willingness to learn and adapt, knowing; when to hold back, how to complain, understand each other, stick to agreements, keeping one's word.

I love you.

Sometimes we inquire into life. At times we find what we're looking for, others none.

When and Who to date?

When:
Not now!
Not when it feels right
Not because they like you
Not because your friends are dating

When?
When you are obedient to your parents and guardians about it Eph 6:1
When you are actively seeking God first in your life Mat 6:33
When you are loving God with all your heart and all your strength Mat 22:37
When you know the "who" in them

NB: Dating well is better than dating early

Who:
Not because of how they look Prov 31:30
Not only because of how we feel about them

Who?
Date a follower of Christ 2 Cor 6:14
Date a person that loves God as much as you (or more than you, but in the right way)
Date a person in a similar age range that is easy to get to know them
Date a person your parents and friends are "generally" okay with

I remember vividly when you smiled at me, it made my soul feel your warmth.
I felt your hand touch my skin softly and my heart was happy.
That Night...........
I will never forget in my life. It was the night we were ever close.
I held you close to me and felt your breath and your beating heart.
I wish I could bring that night back but I cant.
That Night..........
We were both happy and the look in your eyes were filled with..............LOVE.
Your soft voice echoing in my ear....................
Watching you sleep beside me, made me forget all about the worries of the world.
I wanted nothing ........but you............
That Night.........
The tears! it brings to my eyes.......just to remember you.
The pain in my heart!  just to know you'll never be there for me.
Your advice..........your laughter...........your smile.............the little gossiping here and there.......your voice on the phone checking up on me and also looking out for my best interest.
You were a treasure beyond measure...............
Who would ever treat me like you did? When you alone saw how to bring the best in me.
You made promises to me..... that you'll always be there and I believed.
That Night............
I should have cling onto you tighter than I did.
That Night.........
My faith should have been more, just like you taught me.
And then............. you were gone!!!!!!!!!!!!
I never wanted that night to end......but it did, as everything that has a beginning has an end.
I know you don't even think about me, because you're loved more than I could ever love you where you are now.

Our last time together.......and all the memories we made has been planted deep in my mind and heart.
Its been a long time....... without you my dearest .......but I'll surely tell you all about it when I ever see you again.

Something about you

Moments ago ,I spoke to someone who is special to me and after hearing him;
Unfortunately, I had tears in my eyes for just listening to him...................


He was in love and couldn't help but scream it loud.................
but these were the actual words I wanted to tell my dear one after listening to him..................;

“You have to walk carefully in the beginning of love; the running across fields into your lover's arms can only come later when you're sure she won't laugh if you trip.”
Too often, two people feel the early signs of a loving relationship only to move too fast with the one they are falling in love with.
Or worse yet, you become so enamored with “being in love” that you become blinded to the warning signs.


You so desperately want to be in love and be loved that you miss important clues.


One thing I know for sure is that “Rome wasn’t built in a day.” One thing for certain – neither was love.
 
It develops over time.
It requires patience.
It requires self-examination.
 
And it most certainly requires you to run slowly across fields until you find the proper footing, lest you fall down!

but after so many thoughts.................................I felt it was no longer my place to say these things.

So...................I smiled through my pain as tears streamed down my face.
Alas! he has found Love...................................................

God loves mankind and has given us a Saviour in Christ.

Don't be dismembered by pain or hurt

In life, one needs a tight coordination with their soul, spirit and body.

I have had this, I learn that this is easily achieved when God Almighty is in the picture.

I stand stronger each day, although things do not seem pleasant, there is an inner quietness that stills my soul.

Inquire of the Lord and He'll give you peace.

Forgiveness the traits of a Christian

From the depths of my heart, the same place where issues of life hang in the balance.
Although in pain, I ought to lead the way as Christ would have me.

Father forgive,  I have forgiven them that trespass against me.
I cannot hold it in my heart not to forgive.
I ask for your blessings on their lives.

I ask that whatever issues they have in their lives You kindly help them, provide for them.
You know how much they are dear to me, provide for them.
Lead them to the path of righteousness, for that is the ultimate you'd have each one pursue.
I pray for all they do, that by virtue of my forgiveness you'll increase and favour them.

Lord each day as You teach me to forgive, I pray Your Spirit would nudge them in the right direction.

Lord let Your name be glorified.

What does it mean to live love

First of all by simple observation and deduction:

Take the ”i” that is yourself from living and replace it with the ”o” that is others and you'll be loving.

Simple as it may sound, it could be tedious at first and seem to go against the natural instincts of survival.

But just substitute I with Others and you should be fine.
