Why shudder?

The key to success is to focus our conscious mind on things we desire not things we fear.

Your cheeks are beautiful with earrings,
    your neck with strings of jewels.

How beautiful you are, my darling!
    Oh, how beautiful!
    Your eyes are doves.

Like a lily among thorns
    is my darling among the young women.

show me your face,
    let me hear your voice;
for your voice is sweet,
    and your face is lovely.

How beautiful you are, my darling!
    Oh, how beautiful!
    Your eyes behind your veil are doves.
Your hair is like a flock of goats :-)

Your teeth are like a flock of sheep just shorn,
    coming up from the washing.
Each has its twin;
    not one of them is alone.
Your lips are like a scarlet ribbon;
    your mouth is lovely.

Your neck is like the tower of David,
    built with courses of stone[a];
on it hang a thousand shields,
    all of them shields of warriors.

Your breasts are like two fawns,
    like twin fawns of a gazelle
    that browse among the lilies.

You are altogether beautiful, my darling;
    there is no flaw in you.

You have stolen my heart, my sister, my bride;
    you have stolen my heart
with one glance of your eyes,
    with one jewel of your necklace.

How delightful is your love, my sister, my bride!
    How much more pleasing is your love than wine,
and the fragrance of your perfume
    more than any spice!

Your lips drop sweetness as the honeycomb, my bride;
    milk and honey are under your tongue.
The fragrance of your garments
    is like the fragrance of Lebanon.

Your teeth are like a flock of sheep
    coming up from the washing.
Each has its twin,
    not one of them is missing.

Sixty queens there may be,
    and eighty concubines,
    and virgins beyond number;

but my dove, my perfect one, is unique,
    the only daughter of her mother,
    the favorite of the one who bore her.
The young women saw her and called her blessed;
    the queens and concubines praised her.

How beautiful your sandaled feet,
    O prince’s daughter!
Your graceful legs are like jewels,
    the work of an artist’s hands.

Your navel is a rounded goblet
    that never lacks blended wine.
Your waist is a mound of wheat
    encircled by lilies.

Your breasts are like two fawns,
    like twin fawns of a gazelle.

Your neck is like an ivory tower.
Your eyes are the pools of Heshbon
    by the gate of Bath Rabbim.
Your nose is like the tower of Lebanon
    looking toward Damascus.

Your head crowns you like Mount Carmel.
    Your hair is like royal tapestry;
    the king is held captive by its tresses.

How beautiful you are and how pleasing,
    my love, with your delights!

Your stature is like that of the palm,
    and your breasts like clusters of fruit.

I said, “I will climb the palm tree;
    I will take hold of its fruit.”
May your breasts be like clusters of grapes on the vine,
    the fragrance of your breath like apples,

and your mouth like the best wine.

Sunday 14th April 2013: Words were spoken, not that these words have never been spoken.

There are times when words are empty, there are times they carry the full impact of what is being said, there are times when they are just gibberish.

Words do really make or unmake.

Words can cheer or depress.

This tongue is so powerful.

Mostly it acts as a link from heart and mind to the listening ears around us.

I also learnt in times recent not to utter any word I do not ever mean:

Prov 15:1 A gentle answer turns away wrath,
    but a harsh word stirs up anger.
2 The tongue of the wise adorns knowledge,
    but the mouth of the fool gushes folly.

When people use words against me, I do not react, instead I tell myself  "If i cannot build, i will not destroy"

Patience or long-suffering is the virtue.

Ecclesiastes 5:2

Do not be quick with your mouth,
    do not be hasty in your heart
    to utter anything before God.
God is in heaven
    and you are on earth,
    so let your words be few.

Proverbs 18:21

The tongue has the power of life and death,
    and those who love it will eat its fruit.

Next time smile when you speak, there is a way to show anger, which when done blesses those to whom you are angry towards.

I love you (with a smile)

Your God will be my God

Yep, those are the words of Ruth.

What would lead a young woman (person) to drop their beliefs for another one.

Be my guest and guess.

And how blessed it is when the new set of beliefs are positive.

I pray this is your story be it recipient or giver.

Ruth 1

16 But Ruth replied, “Don’t urge me to leave you or to turn back from you. Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God. 17 Where you die I will die, and there I will be buried. May the Lord deal with me, be it ever so severely, if even death separates you and me.” 18 When Naomi realized that Ruth was determined to go with her, she stopped urging her.

In my current state I am on the verge of completing the whole quote.

What leads a person to do this?

I love you.

As sure the sun rises so is God's love for us.

Lamentations 3:22

We are certain of one thing God is who He is.

People know you for something, is that what you want them to think of ?

As you reflect find ways to do so......

Acid Test

Simulations help but the actual experience does make a huge difference.

So it is with my life.

Sometimes I am very overconfident in myself even, postulating my success in harsh conditions.

But lo, passing through experiences teaches me to think and think and think, then grow and grow and grow.

I am not as strong as I always think.

I guess I am also too jealous a guy.

A new day

It is the dawning of a new day.
Work continues.
Hope is rekindled.
Love set ablaze.
Peace shed upon us.

Seize Today like there is no tomorrow.

Things we do for love

Things we do for "love"................

Yes think about the things you do ..............

Think about the things that have been done for you ...........

Don't forget what God does for you too................

Is it not incredible what love can do ....................

Even to the extent of altering your mindset, outlook, stature, ........

Let love reign in your life

1 Corinthians 13:4-8 Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends. As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away.

Song of Solomon 8:6-7  Set me as a seal upon your heart, as a seal upon your arm, for love is strong as death, jealousy is fierce as the grave. Its flashes are flashes of fire, the very flame of the LORD. Many waters cannot quench love, neither can floods drown it. If a man offered for love all the wealth of his house, he would be utterly despised.

The hunger for love is much more difficult to remove than the hunger for bread. ~Mother Teres

The way to love anything is to realize that it may be lost. ~G.K. Chesterton

Power of woRds

Tears, all because of words.
Words can make and unmake, God help me to keep my words refreshing and pleasant to those who hear me.

Punching Bag

Love should be free like the waterfall and should not have any strings attached.

But if the one you love says the things you do to them makes them a punching bag!!!!!!!!! auchhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...........................................................

It does hurt like Ali Mohamed personally giving you his last victory blow.
Those words pierce the heart and bleeds out right to the polished floor.

Love they say is not boastful so what can i do but to forgive and let go.......................................................

Out of the valley, but where?

Wow, as they say no condition is permanent.

I used to be in the valley where one had to take conditions as there were, but now I find myself somewhere and I don't know how to describe it.

I (wo ai ni) but cannot fully express myself, why? Good question.

Life I guess cannot remain simple all the time.

I am going to do all the best i can do on my part, because the road I am on is one i Love and chose also.

I cannot be a wavering guy who says this and does not mean it.

I wish stuff would be "normal".

I never understood why people always wanted to be acknowledged for who they think they are or want to be, but now I get it.

A --> B (and B knows)
A confirms to B
B --> A (A believes, B knows)
B confirms/denies to A

Even in this condition I remain less sensitive (per reaction) to harsh words, yet I have to be very cautious about mine, I guess that makes me a good person too.

I guess I should never be too sure of myself because I thought I knew how far, wide, harsh and nice love could be, but day after day I find out how much more intricate it is.

I am stretching even beyond what my logical mind at rest would predict.

Sorry for blogging in abstract, my bad.
